Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
4 tablespoons boiling water.
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup coconut
1 cup plain flour
Pinch of salt
Method:
Melt butter and syrup over low heat.
Add boiling water mixed with soda.
Pour into mixed dry ingredients and mix well.
Roll into balls, place on greased baking tray and flatten with a fork, leaving room for spreading.
Cook in a moderate oven, 15-20 minutes.
