Deep Fried Camembert

Ingredients:
1 whole camembert, refrigerated
1 egg, beaten
Breadcrumbs
Rasberry jam
Melba toast.
Oil for frying

Method:
Cut camembert into eighths.
Dip in beaten egg then coat in breadcrumbs.
Deep fry for a few seconds – just enough to brown the breadcrumbs.
Place on kitchen paper to drain.
Serve hot with raspberry jam and melba toast.

Melba toast:
The quickest way to make melba toast is taking a thick sliced piece of bread and pop it into the toaster.
When it's finished, using a sharp knife slice the toast in half so you end up with one side toasted and the other untoasted.
Cut these into triangles and place them on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven until they are fully cooked and start to curl up at the sides.
