Caramel Squares

Ingredients:
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup self raising flour
1 cup coconut
½ cup melted unsalted butter
Topping:
1 can condensed milk
2 tablespoons golden syrup
¼ cup melted unsalted butter
4oz chocolate
½ oz copha

Method:
Mix together brown sugar, self raising flour and coconut with the melted butter.
Press into a 18cm x 28cm baking tin and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes.
Mix condensed milk and golden syrup with melted butter.
Mix thoroughly and place on top of cooked base and bake for a further 20 minutes. Cool.
Chop chocolate and copha and melt together.
Spread over set caramel topping.
Mark into approximately 30 pieces.
